Print Study - Scholar conducting research
Hours and Availability
The Print Study Room is available for scholars from 9:00am to 1:45pm, Monday through Friday. Additional time may be scheduled according to availability.
Making an Appointment
A two-week advance reservation is recommended; longer advance notification is highly recommended. No "drop-in" appointments are accepted. Scholars working with other Center staff (such as the archivists or curators) are allowed more flexibility but should make arrangements at least 48 hours in advance.
Appointments may be made by contacting the Registrar at parkert@ccp.library.arizona.edu. Please provide name, address, a detailed description of the research topic, phone contact number, and date and time requested for Print Study.
At the time the appointment is made, you will discuss your research needs with the Registrar, who has access to the detailed collection database and is available for consultation in planning the selection of photographs for your use.
On the day of your appointment
- You will be asked to fill out an information form and show picture identification.
- You may bring paper and pencil or a laptop into the Print Study Room.
- You must leave all bags, packages, cameras, and other items in a lobby locker.
- You must read and sign a form outlining the Center's Policies Governing Use of Materials, agreeing to safeguard the photographs during your Print Study experience and indicating that you have read and will abide by our Print Handling Guidelines. A print study assistant will be present to assist you and answer questions during your appointment.
